My hat is off to a chap in the U.K. by the name of Chris Lam. He is the author of a shareware Atari emulator called Rainbow, which was used to make all of the screenshots here. Why let these games be mere memories? Here's a shot of Rainbow in action:

The latest version (released after I made these screenshots), offers full-screen action. And Rainbow is now available for both Macintosh and PC. You can get more information on Rainbow, and download a demo version, by clicking here.

There was another Macintosh-based emulator called WACKE, but development stopped several years ago with version 1.60. You can still download it if this link is working (it seems to fade in and out).

If you use a PC, you could also try the freeware Atari800Win or Atari800.

And there are several other emulators reviewed at Tony Smolar's Atari 8-bit Emulator Page. Or try doing a web search.
